AGITATION. This is the time to stand up and speak out. Those of you who can, please join the throng at our Nation's Capitol, September 24-26, for three days of peaceful action to end George W's Iraq adventure, including a mass march of grassroots folks from all across the country on Saturday the 24th. It's coordinated by United for Peace and Justice. For information or to volunteer: 212-868-5545/ In addition, there are numerous peace marches, rallies, and other events in cities across the country. Seek out your local peace group or check listings at If you don't find something in your area, you be the leader and get something going!

In addition, speak out wherever you are – talk with family, co-workers, friends, students, church goers, people in the grocery line, your coffee crowd, and anyone else with ears. Write letters to the editor, call in to talk shows, form discussion groups, and just for the fun of it, call the White House comment line and ask (politely) why Jenna and Barbara haven't joined Daddy's war: Also, as always, spread the Lowdown around!
