What a scream it is to watch the Bushites frantically scrambling around the country in a political effort to trash us opponents of their disastrous war policy in Iraq.
Oh, excuse me… George W instructed us not to call his team’s tirades “political.” When he launched his own ongoing series of speeches to lambast Democrats and other war critics as being soft on terrorism, he declared that his road show was not political. “I seriously hope people wouldn’t politicize these issues I’m going to talk about,” he whined, as he traveled to a fundraiser for a Republican senate candidate.

Then, George’s White House mouthpiece, Tony Snow, bludgeoned Democrats as being “people who say we shouldn’t apprehend al Qaeda; we shouldn’t detain al Qaeda; we shouldn’t question al Qaeda; we shouldn’t listen to al Qaeda.” Wow – such a big mouth, such a small mind. Come on, Tony, name even one Democrat who has said any such thing.
Adding his two cents, Rumsfeld recently snarled that war critics are people who “blame America first.” Horsefeathers, Rummy. We are America! Six out of ten Americans oppose your policies. We don’t blame America – we blame you! We blame George W, “Buckshot” Cheney, and your whole flock of ideological nutballs, war profiteers, and chickenhawks.
It’s time to say the obvious: The Bushites are incompetent losers. They lost Osama. They’re losing Iraq. They lost the nuclear confrontation with Iran. They lost New Orleans. Hell, they even lost Pluto  – one-ninth of our Solar System is gone!
This is Jim Hightower saying… The Bushites are blaming Americans for their own failures. We the People certainly want to fight the terrorists – but we want to fight them competently and effectively, without lies, without demonizing our own people, and without subverting the very liberties that make America… America.
